Effective Date: 20 April 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the uixperiment platform (the "Platform"), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please discontinue use of the Platform.
We may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will be communicated via the Platform and/or your registered email address. Continued use of the Platform after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
2. About the Platform
uixperiment is a design challenge platform designed for UI/UX designers, including junior designers and those transitioning careers. The Platform offers brief-based "What-if" and "How might we" design challenges inspired by real-life applications, with the aim of helping users develop their design skills and build a professional portfolio.
Each challenge has a specific duration and requires users to submit their work through the provided form. Submissions will be processed by an AI-based system to generate a case study formatted to professional standards.
3. Account Registration
Using the Platform requires creating an account via email or a Google account (OAuth). You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
- Providing accurate and up-to-date information.
- Notifying us immediately at support@uixperiment.com if any unauthorized access to your account occurs.
- All activities conducted through your account.
One user is only allowed one active account.
4. Challenge, Submission & AI Process
Each challenge available on the Platform has a set duration. Users must submit submissions by the specified deadline via the provided submission form.
Your submission will be automatically processed by uixperiment's AI system to produce a polished case study that meets professional formatting standards. This process does not alter the essence of your work or design thinking, but rather helps present it in a more structured format.
By submitting a submission, you certify that:
- The content you submit is your own original work.
- You have full rights to collect and use such content.
- You consent to the processing of your content by uixperiment's AI system.
5. Ownership & Use of Case Studies
The case study resulting from your submission is jointly owned by you and uixperiment under the following conditions:
- You have the full right to use, publish, and distribute the case study for portfolio purposes or other purposes, as long as it does not harm any party.
- uixperiment has the non-exclusive right to use, display, and publish the case study for Platform operations, marketing purposes, or service improvement.
You may choose to make your case study public so that it can be accessed by other users. If published, your name and account identification will be displayed alongside the case study unless you specify otherwise.
6. Use of Brand Names & Affiliate Disclaimer
Disclaimer: uixperiment is not affiliated, sponsored, or endorsed by any brand or company whose name appears in the challenge brief on the Platform.
The challenge brief on the Platform uses the name of a real application or product solely as inspiration for educational purposes and to develop design skills. All challenges are conceptual and fictitious — the designed features are not official products of the brands, were never commissioned by the brands, and do not represent their future product plans.
Users who publish or distribute case studies from the Platform are required to state that the work is a conceptual/fictional project and is not affiliated with the relevant brands.
7. Ticket & Payment System
Currently, all challenges on the Platform are free. uixperiment plans to introduce a virtual currency system called Tickets in the future. Tickets can be used to access certain features or challenges and can be obtained through a top-up mechanism that will be further explained at launch.
Further provisions regarding the Ticket system, pricing, and payment mechanism will be published as an addendum to these Terms & Conditions before the feature is launched. Tickets have no monetary value outside the Platform and cannot be redeemed for cash unless otherwise stated in writing by uixperiment.
8. Prohibited Use Terms
You are prohibited from:
- Soliciting submissions that are not your original work (plagiarism).
- Using bots or automated tools to access or collect Platform content.
- Copying, distributing, or selling Platform content without written permission.

- Conducting actions that compromise the security or continuity of the Platform.
- Creating multiple accounts to circumvent Platform restrictions.
9. Account Termination
You can delete your account at any time by contacting support@uixperiment.com. uixperiment reserves the right to suspend or delete accounts that violate these Terms & Conditions without prior notice. Account deletion does not delete publicly published case studies, unless explicitly requested.
10. Limitation of Liability
The Platform is provided "as is." uixperiment is not responsible for any losses arising from the use of the Platform, including but not limited to: inaccurate AI output, service interruptions, or use of case studies by third parties.
